Can residents pay maintenance online?

Yes. Residents pay via UPI, debit/credit card or net banking directly in the app using Razorpay. Receipts are generated automatically and delivered instantly — no manual receipt-writing by the treasurer.

Does myKutir handle GST on maintenance automatically?

Yes. Once you set your society's GST registration status and threshold, the system automatically applies GST to the correct portion of bills for flats above the ₹7,500/month threshold, and generates GST-compliant invoices.

Yes. Every transaction is exportable directly to Tally format, and bank statement CSV files can be imported for automated reconciliation against recorded payments — your CA doesn't need to learn a new system.

Does myKutir's AI ever make up answers or hallucinate?

The platform uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), which prevents hallucination by design. The AI is given only the retrieved notice chunks as context — it cannot draw on general training data to answer society-specific questions. If the answer doesn't exist in the society's published notices, it says so rather than inventing a rule.

Is society data sent to external AI services?

Only the specific text relevant to a query (e.g. retrieved notice chunks, or what a committee member types into a draft box) is sent to the configured AI service. Resident names, payment records and financial data are never included in AI queries, and no data is used to train any external model.

Yes. Platform administrators can configure a self-hosted AI endpoint, including a local Ollama instance. All AI processing then happens on your own infrastructure — suitable for societies with strict data residency requirements.

No. Card numbers, CVV codes and net banking credentials are entered directly on Razorpay's hosted, PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment page. myKutir never sees or stores this data — only a payment ID and confirmation status after a successful payment.
