Advertiser Terms & Ad Policy

Squadkin Technologies Pvt Ltd ("myKutir") · Version 2026-10-15.2 · Effective 15 October 2026

In short: You are responsible for your ads and your business. We check every business and every ad before it shows, and we can refuse or remove any ad. You pay in advance into a wallet and are charged only for views. Money you have not spent can be refunded. We never give you any resident's name, number or flat, and we do not promise results.

1. Who these terms apply to

These Advertiser Terms ("Terms") are an agreement between Squadkin Technologies Pvt Ltd, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India ("myKutir", "we", "us") and the person or business that registers an advertiser account in the myKutir app ("Advertiser", "you"). You accept them by ticking "I agree" when you register. If you register for a business, you confirm you are allowed to bind that business to these Terms.

These Terms apply in addition to the myKutir Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which still govern your use of the app as a resident. If they conflict on anything about advertising, these Terms apply. Businesses that sign a written quote or order with our sales team are governed by that quote, plus these Terms for anything the quote does not cover.

2. Registration and approval

  • The details you give (business name, kind of business, phone, GST number) must be true and kept up to date. You can edit them in the app.
  • Every business is reviewed by our team before it can advertise. We may ask for proof of the business, its licences or its GST registration, and we may refuse or later suspend any business at our discretion.
  • One account per person. You are responsible for everything done from your account.
  • Some kinds of business may not advertise at all, and some are shown only in societies that choose to allow them (see section 4).

3. Your ads and what they may contain

You are solely responsible for every ad you submit, including its pictures, videos, offer codes and the link it opens. Every ad must:

  • be true and not misleading, including any price, discount, offer or claim, and comply with the ASCI Code for Self-Regulation in Advertising and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (including the CCPA Guidelines on misleading advertisements);
  • be for a lawful product or service that you are licensed or registered to provide (for example FSSAI for food, RERA for real estate, RBI/IRDAI registration for financial products);
  • use only pictures, videos, names, logos and trademarks that you own or are licensed to use;
  • link only to a safe page that matches the ad, with no malware, phishing or requests for passwords or card details;
  • not be offensive, sexual, hateful, discriminatory (including on religion, caste, community, gender or diet), political or religious campaigning, or aimed at children in a harmful way.

Never permitted: alcohol, tobacco and vaping; gambling, betting and fantasy games for money; weapons; drugs and unapproved medicines or cures; adult content; pyramid, chain or "get rich" schemes; crypto investment schemes; and anything illegal in India.

4. Review, refusal and removal

  • Every ad is checked by our team before it shows, and again whenever you change it. Approval does not mean we have verified your claims or that your ad is lawful; that remains your responsibility.
  • We may refuse, pause or remove any ad, or suspend your account, at any time, including after it has started, if we believe it breaks these Terms or the law, or after residents report it. We will usually tell you why.
  • Each residential society on myKutir decides whether ads are shown to its residents at all, and which kinds. A society may switch ads off or block a category at any time. Residents may hide an ad or report it. None of this is a breach of these Terms by us, and it may reduce how many people see your ad.
  • Some categories (such as loans and credit, and real estate) are shown only in societies that have chosen to allow them.

5. Prices, wallet and payment

  • Self-serve ads are priced per 1,000 views (impressions) at the price shown in the app when you pay. We may change the price for future payments; money already paid keeps the price it was paid at.
  • You pay in advance into your ads wallet through our payment partner (Razorpay). GST is added on top, and each payment has its own GST invoice in the app. Your GST number, if you give one, is printed on your invoices.
  • You give a campaign its budget from the wallet. As your ad is shown, its budget is used up at the price per view. When a campaign ends or you lower its budget, what it did not spend goes back to your wallet.
  • A view is counted by our systems when your ad is actually displayed to a resident, with limits on how often the same person sees it. Our count is final for billing. Reports in the app are approximate for anything other than billing.
  • We do not promise any number of clicks, calls, sales or other results, or that your ad will be shown on any particular day, place or society.

6. Refunds

  • Money that is in your wallet and has not been given to a campaign can be refunded on request. To refund money a campaign is holding, end or lower that campaign first so it returns to the wallet.
  • Money already spent on views is not refundable. Free promotional credit is never refundable (see section 6A).
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay, including the GST paid on that amount. Once approved they normally reach you within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
  • If we remove your ad or close your account because of a breach of these Terms, we may keep amounts already spent and refund the rest of your wallet, unless we are required by law to hold it.
  • To ask for a refund, write to [email protected] from the app (Advertise → Help) with your registered phone number.

6A. Free promotional credit

  • We may give free ads credit, for example a welcome bonus, a bonus on a top-up, a promo code, or as goodwill. Each offer may have its own conditions, such as dates, the kinds of business it is for, and how many times it can be used.
  • Free credit is kept apart from the money you paid. It is used before your own money, it has no cash value, and it can never be refunded, transferred or exchanged for cash.
  • Free credit may expire. The expiry date is shown in your wallet. Credit that expires before it is given to an ad is removed. Credit already given to a running ad keeps running.
  • If a top-up that earned a bonus is refunded, the bonus is taken back in the same proportion, as far as it has not been used.
  • We may take back unused free credit given by mistake, or used in breach of these Terms (for example through duplicate accounts), and we may end any offer at any time.

7. Residents' privacy

  • We never share any resident's name, phone number, flat, society membership list or other personal data with you. Your reports show only totals (views, clicks), never who saw or clicked your ad.
  • You must not try to identify, contact or collect data about residents through your ad or your link other than through contact they choose to make with you, and you must handle any data a resident gives you lawfully, including under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
  • Your own contact details are used only by our team to verify and support you. They are not shown to residents unless you put them in your ad.
  • We may use data about how ads perform, in aggregated or de-identified form, to run and improve the service.

8. Licence to show your ads

You keep ownership of your content. You give myKutir a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, for as long as your ad runs and for record-keeping afterwards, to store, resize, crop, compress and display your ads inside the myKutir app and its notifications. We may crop a picture to fit a place in the app.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless myKutir, its directors, employees and the residential societies where your ads appear, against any claim, penalty, loss or reasonable legal cost arising from: your ads or their content; your products, services, offers or links; any breach of these Terms or of law by you; any infringement of anyone's intellectual property by your content; or any dispute between you and a resident.

10. No warranty and limit of liability

  • The advertising service is provided "as is" and "as available". The app or ads may be unavailable at times for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
  • We are not responsible for your dealings with residents, including any sale, service, delivery, payment or dispute between you and them.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or loss of profit, business or goodwill.
  • Our total liability to you for anything arising from advertising on myKutir is limited to the amount you paid us for advertising in the three (3) months before the event that caused the claim.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

11. Ending the agreement

  • You can stop at any time by ending your campaigns and asking for a refund of your wallet balance (section 6).
  • We may suspend or close your account at any time if you breach these Terms or the law, or if we stop offering advertising. If we stop offering advertising for reasons other than your breach, we will refund your whole unspent wallet balance.
  • Sections 6, 7, 9, 10 and 13 continue after the agreement ends.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Each version carries the date it took effect at the top of this page. When we make a material change, we will ask you to accept the new version in the app before you can start or fund a new campaign. Campaigns already funded continue on the version in force when they were funded.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, please first write to us at [email protected] and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. If it is not resolved, it will be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration is Ahmedabad and the language is English. Subject to this, the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. General

  • You are an independent business. Nothing in these Terms makes you our partner, agent or employee, or makes us endorse your business.
  • You may not transfer your account or these Terms to anyone else without our written consent.
  • If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
  • We may send notices to you through the app, by push notification, or to the phone or email on your advertiser account.
