Cookie Policy
Squadkin Technologies Pvt Ltd ("myKutir") — Effective date: 1 January 2025 · Last updated: 9 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Squadkin Technologies Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar browser-based storage technologies on the myKutir web platform at www.mykutir.in. It is published in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
The myKutir mobile app (iOS and Android) does not use browser cookies. It uses device-native secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) for session tokens and app preferences. This policy covers only the web platform.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites function correctly, remember your preferences, and help website operators understand how their site is used. In addition to cookies, myKutir also uses localStorage and sessionStorage — browser-based storage mechanisms that work similarly to cookies but are not transmitted to the server with every request.
Under the IT (SPDI) Rules 2011, certain information stored in cookies or browser storage may constitute "personal information" and is subject to the same data protection obligations as other personal data we process. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Analytics and Error Tracking
Optional — anonymised data onlyWe use Sentry for error monitoring. No personally identifiable information is transmitted.
Sentry session (in-memory)
Captures anonymised error traces and device context (OS, browser version, app version) to help us diagnose and fix bugs. No name, email, phone, or flat number is transmitted.

3. Third-Party Cookies
Certain third-party services embedded in or used by the Platform may set their own cookies:
| Provider | Purpose | Their Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Razorpay | Fraud detection and payment flow state management during the checkout process | razorpay.com/privacy |
| Google Fonts | Loading web fonts — may set a temporary browser cache entry | policies.google.com/privacy |
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media tracking pixels, or any cross-site tracking technologies. We do not participate in any ad network.
4. Consent
Under the DPDP Act 2023 and SPDI Rules 2011:
- Strictly Necessary storage: does not require separate consent as it is essential for the Platform to function. By using the Platform, you acknowledge its use.
- Functional storage: is activated by default as it significantly improves your experience. You may clear it at any time from your browser settings without losing access to the Platform.
- Analytics/error tracking: Sentry error monitoring is active as part of our legitimate interest in maintaining Platform security and stability. It operates with anonymised data only.
5. How to Manage and Clear Storage
You can view, manage, and delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings:
Note: Clearing strictly necessary storage (auth token, session data) will log you out of the Platform. Clearing functional storage will reset your language and layout preferences.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites. We currently do not alter our storage behaviour in response to DNT signals, as there is no established Indian legal standard for DNT compliance. We do not engage in any cross-site tracking regardless of DNT status.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the Platform, applicable laws, or our practices. Material changes will be communicated to Society Admins via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
8. Contact
